GLM'S BLOG

A detailed blog of one's life.

My First Blog?!

This is the beginning of my journey, surely throughout the course of recording, hopefully hundreds of thoughts and experiences, where at one point it’ll all possibly make sense. I intend on using this as an archive. Granting myself the ability to peek back into time and observe the ever-changing human mind. Using this blog, I hope to accurately describe and etch my current beliefs or experiences which hold significance into the wall available to be read.

It seems logical to make my first post to take the time and elaborate on who I am and what I do. This may seem redundant in retrospect to anyone in the future after I’ve created an about me page. Regardless, my name is Andrew Williams. At the time of writing this literary masterpiece, I am 20 years of age, 21 years in October 2025. I graduated high school, dropped out of college, owe the college money, and am now experiencing the tragedy that is Corporate America. I’ve been employed every day of my life from June 2021 to the current time. Working all those years, all those hours of overtime, nothing to show for it. You know life is tough, but it’s not that tough. I’d say I’m a pretty funny guy sometimes, but it’s definitely situational most of the time.

OOC: thinking of this now, writing this, it would be cool to implant as many of my ideas and thoughts that this could be used as an Engram like Johnny Silverhand in Cyberpunk 2077.

So obviously, you people, the viewer, you, not me, you do not need to know EVERYTHING about my life. I’ll obviously take the greatest liberties to hold back all I can.

I love music like Kanye West, Tory Lanez, Travis Scott, and like literally anything except country. Who’d expect someone to like Bad Bunny? Maybe I’ll find a way to add a way to have a suggested song for my alleged readers to experience and share their opinions. It’s honestly just a lot of thinking and conceptualizing. I definitely would consider this to be more of a thought exercise or experiment using this as a medium.

This is how we are going to discover I’m actually really mentally ill or something, but I think I’m not so hopeful I’m okay.

I thoroughly like video games. I’ve been playing games via PlayStation 2s, Nintendo DSs, or even Nintendo Game Cubes. It’s quite literally been my entire life. My first console was an Xbox 360 Slim, and unfortunately, it got the red ring of death, and I was never able to fix it. Now, unfortunately, for this soon-hopefully-to-be-coming-out Grand Theft Auto 6 game, I don’t want to have to, but I’ve gotta buy a PS5. Nowadays, I play primarily on PC. I have a deep love for Counter-Strike; it’s quite literally the only reason I continued to play on PC. I played Counter-Strike back in 2017 and only played for maybe 2 weeks, then cheated and got VAC banned. I took a year to think about life and bought another account with the intentions of being a legit player and loving the game. On January first, 2018, I spent the Steam card I got from my parents for Christmas on CSGO for $15. I proudly have continued to play Counter-Strike even after the new CS2 came out, and I haven’t reached the heights I’ve always wanted to, but I guess that’s life. I still play occasionally, but more of just to look at skins and have fun with the, I guess, at this point, lifelong friends I gained from playing Counter-Strike.

I’m very thankful for my friends that I’ve met online and they haven’t killed me. I’ll possibly create a post or two to reflect on the times I’ve met up with my friends.

I love traveling at the moment it’s planned for me to be going to St. Louis, Missouri for my birthday in October to celebrate my 21st birthday and a good excuse to host a meetup with all the people who we’ve spent more time with than our own families.

I figure that this blog will be really insightful for myself or possibly a medical physician, but hopefully I can think some truly entertaining things.
